Temperatures heating up
Our very warm winter weather is continuing today here in south Florida, with high temperatures that will hover in the low 80s, which of course is well above average for this time of year. Skies will remain mostly to partly sunny and winds will stay light out of the south. There is an elevated risk for Rip Currents along area beaches today.
Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the 60s. Winds will be light out of the southwest. Just after sunset we will have a nice view of the planets Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury, as well as a sliver of the moon in the western sky.
Thursday and Friday will be mostly to partly sunny with highs in the mid 80s along the coast, and some upper 80s inland. There is only a slim chance for isolated rainfall.
A weak cold front will move through South Florida on Friday night, and may bring a few showers along with it.
Saturday and Sunday will be breezy to windy, with high temperatures in the low to mid 70s on Saturday, and Mid to upper 70s on Sunday. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny and winds will be out of the northeast.
Monday and Tuesday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance for isolated showers. Highs will be in the low 80s.
